Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Guess among others were the trendy designer labels. Both high-end and casual wear were worn by some of the most stylish kids going around. I mean you couldn’t flip through a magazine without seeing someone representing one of these brands.
Big hair
Fashion was majorly represented by having voluminous and long hair, especially among women, in that decade, the 1980s. As for the volume, height and drama, women wore hairstyles that would top the charts as if putting their existence on display and saying, I am HERE.

Another very stylish look was the sport like wet or teased look also known as backcombing. The volumizing shampoo was meant to be used by washing your hair, teasing it at the roots to give it more volume and then using the serum to smoothe it for the very big volume, fluff look. Of course hairspray was needed for everyone to keep all of whatever on their heads in place..
And let's not forget about perms! Those were huge. It was about having that volume and that perfect curls or waves you wanted on your hair, that you’d chemically treat it to produce. Everyone was rocking those huge big voluminous hairstyles that were majorly filling the 80s fashion.
